Clare Hamman was appointed Visiting Research Fellow of ABE at the School’s Research Committee meeting last Thursday, 28 February.
Clare has an association with the school going back to 2008. She was key to the research, development and project management of the Archigram Archive. She subsequently worked as a sub-editor for two Supercrit books, working closely with Kester Rattenbury and Samantha Hardingham to source images, check for copyright and to sub-edit the manuscripts. She is currently working on digitizing the three remaining Supercrits, to be submitted with the hard copy books to the 2013 REF. Her appointment will enable her to advise further on other digital publication projects in the department.
Visiting Research Fellow Appointments are honorary, unpaid appointments for three years. They are made on the basis that the individual appointed will assist in the development of the School’s research and reputation. I am very pleased to announce the formalisation of Clare’s relationship with us in this way and welcome her to the department.
